Amman, April 7 (Petra) — The Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army and the Department of the National Library signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday to enhance cooperation in documentation, archiving, and scientific research.
The agreement was signed at the JAF General Command by Brigadier General Mustafa Abdul Halim al-Hiyari, Director of Military Media, and Firras Darabah, Director General of the Department of the National Library.
The partnership will share expertise in preserving historical documents and manuscripts, aligning the strategic goals of both institutions.
The military said the move is part of its commitment to strengthening partnerships with national organizations to protect Jordan’s national heritage and modernize its archival systems.
