Amman, Mar. 25 (Petra) – Representative of the food sector at Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), Jamal Amro, said food products are “available in sufficient quantities” in the local market, with numerous alternatives for each item.
In a statement to “Petra” on Wednesday, Amro added that the market situation is “normal, without shortage of goods and foodstuffs, whether sugar, rice, or legumes, which are available in excellent quantities.”
He noted the market currently provides various goods and multiple alternatives, stating every importer is aware of the consumption volume of their commodities throughout the year, based on an accredited mechanism.
