Jerash, April 12 (Petra) – The Governorate of Jerash, in cooperation with local community organizations, has launched the “National Creative House” award to recognize the best decorated home in celebration of Jordan’s Flag Day on April 16. The initiative aims to embody the values of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and the Hashemite leadership.
The governorate stated that participation is open to all households within its boundaries. Residents can register via a dedicated WhatsApp number (0778188108) by providing the homeowner’s name and address, followed by photos and a short video clip showcasing the decorations.
Officials clarified that the competition does not prioritize expensive or extravagant displays. Instead, the judging committee will focus on innovative and aesthetic ideas that express creativity while maintaining standards of cleanliness and order. A key requirement is the prominent and respectful display of the Jordanian flag, alongside a clear expression of national identity.
Only one winner will be selected from across the governorate, and the homeowner will be honored during an official ceremony in Jerash. The deadline for submitting participation requests is April 27.
