Jerash, Aug. 2 (Petra) — Chairman of the Greater Jerash Municipality
Committee Mohammad Bani Yaseen on Sunday honored committee
coordinators, liaison officers, and representatives of partner
associations and institutions in recognition of their contributions
to the successful organization of the 40th Jerash Festival for
Culture and Arts.
Bani Yaseen said the festival’s success was the result of close
coordination among the various committees and participating
institutions and their commitment to teamwork. He noted that liaison
officers and committee coordinators played a central role in
facilitating cooperation between stakeholders, overseeing
implementation, resolving field challenges, and helping ensure the
smooth management of festival activities.
He said the municipality views the recognition as a gesture of
appreciation for everyone who contributed to the festival’s success,
stressing that major achievements are built on institutional
cooperation and that recognizing dedicated contributors is a core
value the municipality seeks to promote.
For his part, Omar Al-Dahamsheh, representative of the Ministry of
Local Administration, praised the Greater Jerash Municipality for the
high standard of organization demonstrated throughout the festival
and commended the extensive efforts made by the working committees
and the resources allocated to ensure the event’s success.
Al-Dahamsheh said the participation of representatives from around 50

and highlights Jerash’s ability to host international events
efficiently and professionally. He added that the achievement is a
credit to the municipality as well as the institutions, committees
and individuals who worked to ensure the success of the festival’s
40th edition.
The ceremony honored committee coordinators, liaison officers and
representatives of partner organizations for their contributions to
the festival’s organizational and logistical operations and for
strengthening coordination among participating entities.
The recognition forms part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to
acknowledge its partners’ contributions and emphasize the importance
of teamwork in delivering major national events, while reinforcing
the Jerash Festival’s position as one of the region’s leading
cultural festivals and a showcase for Jordan’s cultural heritage.
