Amman, March 5 (Petra) — The General Syndicate for Owners of Trading Shops and Gold and Jewelry Goldsmiths announced that member stores will soon install electronic screens displaying gold prices linked directly to international markets.
In a statement issued Thursday, the Syndicate said the new system will provide real-time updates on gold prices, allowing customers to see the latest rates instantly inside jewelry stores. The screens are scheduled to be installed in all shops affiliated with the association starting at the beginning of next month.
The Syndicate said the initiative reflects its commitment to keeping pace with fluctuations in global gold prices and ensuring greater transparency in the local market.
It added that the step is intended to strengthen public confidence, improve market organization, and provide clear and accurate price information to customers.
