Amman, Dec 10 (Petra)- The latest radar images from the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) indicate moderate to heavy rainfall, possibly accompanied by hail, across wide areas of Balqa Governorate and parts of Madaba Governorate. The precipitation is expected to extend in the coming hours to parts of western and northern Amman.
In a statement Wednesday, the JMD renewed its warnings to exercise caution against slippery roads and the risk of flash floods in these areas and advised the public to avoid valleys and flood channels.
