Amman, Dec. 17 (Petra) – The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) warned Wednesday of the risk of frost and icy conditions during late night and early morning hours due to a significant drop in temperatures. High mountain areas, particularly in the southern regions, as well as desert areas, are expected to experience temperatures near or below zero Celsius.
The JMD urged citizens to exercise caution, especially when driving on roads that may become icy, and to follow general safety guidelines. Residents were also reminded to use heating devices safely inside homes.
