Job fair in Mafraq offers 500 employment opportunities

Mafraq, Aug. 12 (Petra) — A job fair organized by the Mafraq Labour
Directorate in cooperation with Umm Al-Jimal Municipality and
private-sector institutions provided 500 employment opportunities for
job seekers in the governorate.

Held under the patronage of Mafraq Governor Firas Abu Qaoud, the fair
is part of efforts to empower residents of the Northern Badia, create
new opportunities for young people, and boost employment to support
local development.

The event drew a large turnout, reflecting strong interest in and
confidence in such initiatives.

Abu Qaoud said job fairs were particularly important for job seekers,
noting that the event brought together several specialized companies
operating in Mafraq, offering numerous employment opportunities.

He said authorities would follow up on the seriousness of such job
fairs, particularly as various private-sector institutions had
demonstrated a commitment to providing jobs for residents of Mafraq.

Abu Qaoud urged job seekers to participate in such events to compete
for the available positions.

Director of the Mafraq Labor Directorate Ayman Al-Khawaldeh said 25
private-sector institutions took part in the fair, offering 500 jobs
in the governorate.

He urged job seekers who were unable to attend the event to register
through the Sajjil platform.

Umm Al-Jimal Municipal Committee Chairman Mohammad Abu Alim praised
the job fair and the efforts of all participating parties, stressing
that effective cooperation between the public and private sectors
contributed to achieving the event’s objectives and expanding
employment opportunities for local residents.

He said work would continue to organize similar initiatives serving
the local community.
