Khartoum, April 18, 2026 (SUNA) – The Joint Force of the armed struggle movements said that the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Joint Force, supported by popular resistance and allied units, carried out a “historic military feat” in North Kordofan State. In a statement, it said its forces engaged in intense fighting on Saturday in the Kazgail and Al-Hamadi axes, confronting the Rapid Support Forces with “exceptional steadfastness,” resulting in the full capture and “clearing” of the areas, the defeat of opposing forces, and a wide-scale collapse and retreat, with many captives left behind. The statement added that large quantities of equipment were seized, including 57 combat vehicles in good condition, while more than 36 vehicles and seven UAE-made “Kashkash” armored vehicles were destroyed. It also said that enemy groups (111, 13, 145, and 117) were completely destroyed, describing this as a major blow to opposing capabilities in those axes.BH/BH
