Amman, January 23 (Petra) — The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank.
Ambassador Sufian Qudah, the ministry’s spokesperson, emphasized Jordan’s unequivocal rejection and condemnation of violations by the Israeli occupation forces against international law and humanitarian norms, as well as their obligations as an occupying power.
Qudah called on the international community to take immediate action to compel Israel to uphold international humanitarian law, de-escalate tensions in the West Bank, and work towards maintaining stability in the occupied Palestinian territories. He further underscored the importance of preventing actions that could endanger regional security and exacerbate the situation.
