Amman, Sept 9 (Petra) – Jordan strongly condemned the recent aggression violating the sovereignty of the sisterly State of Qatar, said Minister of Government Communication Mohammad Momani Tuesday.
In remarks to Petra, Momani affirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Qatar in confronting this serious development, warning of its potentially severe consequences.
Momani, who is also the government spokesperson, clarified that the Israeli aircraft targeting sites in Qatar did not enter Jordanian airspace, describing circulating claims about Israeli overflights over Jordan as false allegations intended to harm relations between countries and sow discord.
He emphasized that Jordan’s stance remains firm in supporting de-escalation in the region, asserting that Jordan will not allow its territory to be used for any moves that threaten the security of sisterly states or destabilize regional peace.
