Amman, May 21 (Petra) – An official source on Wednesday denied reports on media outlets and social platforms claiming that the Jordanian ambassador in Ramallah was targeted.
The incident involved Israeli occupation forces opening fire on a diplomatic delegation of over 25 Arab and European ambassadors near Jenin Governorate, it said. The delegation, which included Jordan’s Ambassador Issam Al-Bdour, was accompanied by the Governor of Jenin during the tour, it said.
The source emphasized that Al-Bdour remains in Ramallah and continues to carry out his duties at the Jordanian embassy.
