Amman, August 4 (Petra) — Reinforcing its ongoing humanitarian commitment to the Palestinian people, Jordan on Sunday dispatched a new aid convoy to the Gaza Strip, consisting of 38 trucks loaded with vital food supplies.
The mission was carried out under Royal directives and organized by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO).
The convoy crossed into the occupied Palestinian territories via the King Hussein Bridge, in coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces–Arab Army and in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).
According to a statement from the JHCO, the convoy is part of Jordan’s sustained relief campaign aimed at addressing the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where urgent needs have grown amid ongoing conflict and restricted access to basic resources.
The convoy carries essential food parcels designed to meet the immediate needs of families in Gaza. The aid effort aligns with Jordan’s long-standing policy of humanitarian solidarity and is part of a broader regional and international strategy to ease suffering in the besieged enclave.
“This initiative reflects Jordan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and its active role in coordinating regional humanitarian responses,” the statement read.
