Amman, July 26 (QNA) – Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Canadian counterpart, Anita Anand discussed, in a phone call today, the repercussions of the dangerous escalation in the region and efforts to restore calm and establish lasting security and stability.
The two ministers emphasized the importance of adhering to the ceasefire between the United States and Iran and resuming negotiations to reach a comprehensive solution that addresses all the causes of tension and guarantees freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
They also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest and cooperation programs between their countries. (QNA)
