Amman, July 18 (QNA) – Jordan’s Armed Forces said early Saturday they had intercepted 10 Iranian missiles that entered the Kingdom’s airspace, adding that no casualties or property damage were reported.
In a statement, the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces said the interception was carried out in accordance with established operational procedures and defensive measures to protect the Kingdom’s sovereignty, safeguard its airspace and ensure the safety of its citizens.
The military said the operation caused no casualties or property damage. It added that Royal Engineering Corps teams had been deployed to secure sites where missile debris fell and clear the remnants.
The armed forces said they remained on high alert and continued to monitor the Kingdom’s airspace and regional developments while maintaining full operational readiness to respond to any threat. (QNA)
