Amman, Sept. 28 (Petra) – Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Kharabsheh, met with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul-Ghani, to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the oil and energy fields.
According to a ministry statement on Sunday, talks were held on the sidelines of the Iraq Investment Forum 2025, as both sides reviewed prospects for expanding their energy partnership aimed to serve common interests.
Earlier this month, the statement said the Iraqi government approved extension of the memorandum of understanding on supplying and transporting Iraqi crude oil to Jordan for an additional three months under the same terms previously in effect.
