Amman, Dec. 1 (Petra) – Jordan took part in the International Date Council’s fifth session, held on Wednesday in Riyadh, with a delegation led by Ministry of Agriculture Secretary General Mohammad Hiyari.
It approved a project to develop the Council’s strategy for 2026–2030, in addition to endorsing the work plan and budget for 2026–2027, according to a ministry statement.
Participants were also briefed on efforts to enhance date quality through harmonizing internationally recognized standards and specifications.
