Amman, December 17 (Petra) –Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) tokk part in the 73rd meeting of the Executive Council of Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), held in Rabat, Morocco.
According to a CARC statement on Wednesday, this participation reflects Jordan’s “commitment to strengthening its role in shaping civil aviation policies at the Arab level and supporting joint Arab efforts in this vital sector.”
The statement noted the Executive Council discussed ways to complete implementation of the resolutions of ACAO’s Extraordinary General Assembly.
Discussions focused on enhancing Arab coordination within the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and reviewing operational performance reports and key performance indicators.
Headed by CARC Vice Chairman Firas Hindawi, the Jordanian delegation’s engagement demonstrated the Kingdom’s “commitment” to support the ACAO’s strategic transformation to serve interests of member states and enhance efficiency of Arab air transport and sustainable development.
