Amman, April 6 (Petra) — The Jordan Post Company has secured third place globally in the “Best Stamp in the World 2025” competition, according to a company statement released on Monday.
Jordan’s “Saints of Jordan” stamp received the award in the “Best Engraved/Intaglio Stamp” category, competing against approximately 195 stamp collections submitted by postal organizations from around the world.
The company stated that the award underscores Jordan Post’s excellence in designing and producing stamps of high artistic, cultural, and historical value, reflecting the kingdom’s civilizational and religious heritage.
The international judging panel praised the stamp for its artistic authenticity, elegant design, and significant cultural and philatelic value. This recognition allowed the Jordanian entry to outperform numerous international submissions and reach the global winners’ platform.
The “Best Stamp in the World” competition is considered one of the most prestigious international events in the philatelic sector. It is held under the auspices of several specialized global bodies, including the Universal Postal Union (UPU), the Philatelic Federation of South Africa, and the World Association for the Development of Philately.
Jordan Post said the achievement demonstrates its commitment to applying the highest international standards in design and printing. It also highlights the role of stamps in enhancing Jordan’s international presence and preserving philatelic art as a component of the kingdom’s cultural and historical identity.
