Amman, Aug. 11 (Petra) — Jordan Red Crescent emergency response
teams provided first aid and medical assistance to 120 cases during a
two-day athletics clubs championship held in Amman.
The teams were deployed throughout the competition to provide
immediate first aid and ensure readiness to respond to emergencies
involving athletes and other participants.
The championship, organized by the Jordan Athletics Federation,
brought together men’s, women’s, boys’ and girls’ clubs and was
supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The Jordan Red Crescent said the deployment helped maintain on-site
emergency preparedness and provide participants with timely care
throughout the championship.
