Amman, December 15 (Petra) – The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces dispatched Monday an aid convoy to Syria with support from Hungary’s Hungarian Agency for Aid and the Helping Hand Relief and Development Organisation.
In a statement, JHCO said the convoy comprised 21 trucks carrying residential caravans and food supplies. The shipment is part of ongoing joint humanitarian efforts to meet the basic needs of affected families and reflects Jordan’s humanitarian role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting people during times of crisis.
The organisation expressed appreciation for the support provided by Hungary and the Helping Hand organisation, noting that such cooperation embodies the principles of international solidarity and joint humanitarian action.
It added that Jordan, through JHCO and in partnership with the Jordanian Armed Forces, continues to serve as a key regional hub for humanitarian assistance, drawing on its expertise and logistical capabilities to help alleviate human suffering and support social stability.
