Jordan, UAE to organize conference on AI, Women’s Entrepreneurshipin April 2026

Amman, May 26 (Petra) – The Jordan Forum for Business and Professional Women and the Jordanian-Emirati Business Women Council announced on Monday the organization of a regional conference titled “Women’s Entrepreneurship in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: From Empowerment to Impact,” set to take place in April 2026.

According to a statement issued by the forum, the conference will serve as a regional platform highlighting women’s roles in driving digital transformation and leveraging artificial intelligence technologies in entrepreneurship.

The announcement followed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two councils, aimed at strengthening partnerships in support of women-led initiatives, facilitating knowledge exchange, and implementing programs and projects that enhance women’s contributions to the national economies of both Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.

The agreement was signed by Aseel Hijjawi, vice president of the Emirati council, and Reem Baghdadi, president of the Jordanian forum.

Reem Abu Hassan, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees at the forum, emphasized the depth of Jordanian-Emirati relations and the importance of building on these ties to generate mutual investment opportunities.

Amal Al-Haddabi, President of the Emirati council, highlighted the importance of institutional collaboration in economically empowering women, particularly in emerging sectors based on technology and innovation.

Baghdadi gave a briefing on the forum’s objectives and achievements, stressing the need to form strategic alliances among Arab women’s organizations to keep pace with global labor market shifts.

The two sides held an official meeting to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation in entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment, reflecting the strong economic and fraternal ties within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
