Amman, Oct. 5 (Petra) – Minister of Transport, Nidal Qatamin, met Sunday with Yemeni Ambassador to Jordan, Jalal Faqira, to discuss enhancing cooperation in transportation, including logistics, air, and sea transport.
During the meeting, Qatamin underscored the depth of historical relations between Jordan and Yemen and highlighted Yemen’s strategic importance as a basis for expanding joint transportation initiatives.
He underlined the ministry’s readiness to provide technical support and facilitate cooperation across all transport sectors.
Faqira praised Jordan’s supportive role toward Yemen and expressed his country’s interest in exploring direct flights between the two countries and reviewing joint agreements to broaden transportation collaboration.
