Santo Domingo, August 20 (Petra) – Ambassador Walid Obeidat presented
his credentials Wednesday to Dominican Republic President Luis
Abinader as Jordan’s non-resident extraordinary and plenipotentiary
ambassador, during an official ceremony at the National Palace.
Obeidat conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty King
Abdullah II to Abinader and the Dominican people.
Abinader, for his part, praised King Abdullah’s leadership,
expressing his government’s “keen” interest in expanding bilateral
relations and deepening ties.
