Jordanian Field Hospital 7 Begins Operations in Gaza, Provides Critical Medical Aid

Amman, July 21 (Petra) – The Jordanian Field Hospital 7 in southern Gaza has officially begun receiving patients and providing medical and therapeutic services, as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian mission to support the people of the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing war.

The hospital’s force commander stated, “In fulfillment of Jordan’s humanitarian and medical mission to the people of the Gaza Strip, our medical teams have commenced their work, receiving patients and delivering high-quality therapeutic care. We take pride in our presence in Gaza and our unwavering commitment to serve our Palestinian brothers and sisters with distinction and professionalism.”

The hospital director noted that the medical and nursing teams have treated more than 1,000 patients in specialized clinics, which operate around the clock to address a wide range of medical needs.

The facility is equipped with clinics in dermatology, general surgery, vascular and neurosurgery, plastic surgery, burns, orthopedics, pediatrics, maxillofacial surgery, internal medicine, and gynecology. It also offers neonatal intensive care and operates a mobile prosthetic limb support unit.

The hospital team arrived with 11 trucks carrying humanitarian aid, relief items, and medical supplies, ensuring the hospital is equipped to fulfill its mission. This deployment is part of the broader efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army to support Gaza’s health infrastructure.

Residents of Gaza expressed deep appreciation to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, for its steadfast support and continued humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people.
