Amman, August 27 (Petra) – The Jordanian Field Hospital in Gaza (Unit 83) treated 1,765 patients on Wednesday, providing a range of medical and therapeutic services, according to the hospital’s force commander.
The commander noted that the hospital staff managed various medical cases with professionalism and efficiency, helping to ease the suffering of patients amid increasingly difficult conditions.
As an exceptional measure, clinic hours were extended to ensure that all those in need received care. Local residents expressed appreciation for Jordan’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II.
They highlighted the critical role of the field hospital in addressing urgent medical needs amid the ongoing Israeli war and the collapse of health services across much of the enclave.
