Amman, March 30 (Petra) – Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dhaifullah Fayez joined the Jordanian-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-Russian ministerial meeting via video conference.
Held on Monday, the meeting addressed the consequences of recent Iranian attacks on Jordan and GCC states and regional developments.
Fayez condemned the Iranian attacks as unjustified escalations and violations of international law and state sovereignty.
He said Jordan stands in full solidarity with the GCC states and supports their measures to protect the people, security and stability.
Fayez called for upholding diplomacy in de-escalation, preserving regional and international peace and ensuring respect for international law and sovereignty.
