Beijing, Aug. 21 (Petra)– A Jordanian ministerial delegation held a
dialogue session on Friday in the Chinese capital, Beijing, with
representatives of seven leading Chinese companies operating in
strategic sectors.
The session, held on the sidelines of His Majesty King Abdullah II’s
visit to China, focused on cooperation priorities and mechanisms for
building partnerships between Jordan and Chinese companies,
particularly through technology exchange and exploring partnership
opportunities in innovation and advanced industries.
The companies operate in a range of sectors, including investment and
infrastructure financing, technology, artificial intelligence,
robotics and industrial automation, smart transportation, computing,
and digital health.
The ministerial delegation was briefed on the key technologies and
solutions developed by the companies.
The delegation included Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub
Al-Qudah, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami
Smirat, Jordan’s Ambassador to China Hossam Al-Husseini, and a number
of officials.
