Amman, March 2 (QNA) – Jordan’s King Abdullah II discussed regional developments on Monday in two separate phone calls with Swiss President Guy Parmelin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Discussions during the two calls focused on the need to intensify international efforts to achieve a comprehensive de-escalation and to resort to dialogue and diplomatic channels.
The Jordanian monarch emphasized that Jordan is committed to taking all necessary measures to protect its security, the safety of its citizens, and its sovereignty.
The King also stressed the importance of an immediate halt to the dangerous escalation and the necessity of intensifying international efforts to contain the crisis. (QNA)
