Amman, Dec. 5 (Petra)– Jordanian fighter Nawras Abzakh achieved a historic milestone by winning the PFL MENA Bantamweight Championship, after submitting his world-ranked opponent Islam Yusif in the first round of the final bout.
With this triumph, Abzakh becomes the first Jordanian ever to claim this title in the history of the regional league.
The victory capped months of intense preparation, including a dedicated training camp in Bali, Indonesia, where Abzakh trained with the renowned SOMA team to enhance his technical and physical readiness for the championship clash.
Abzakh also received full support from the Jordan Armed Forces, which provided him the needed time and flexibility to focus solely on training and final preparations.
