Amman, Oct. 8 (Petra) –The Judicial Institute of Jordan (JIJ) received the Excellence Shield as the best Arab judicial body during the 40th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, held by the Arab Center for Legal and Judicial Research, affiliated to Arab League.
The award follows a large competition involving 23 judicial institutes from Arab countries, recognizing the JIJ’s efforts in developing judicial training and advancing programs to prepare judges and public prosecutors.
Representing Jordan, JIJ Director General, Judge Nashat Akhras, attended the 33rd meeting of deans and directors of Arab judicial institutes in Cairo at the Headquarters of the Arab League’s General Secretariat.
The milestone reflects the institute’s “leading” role at the pan-Arab level, highlighting its ongoing work to enhance legal competencies, foster cooperation, and exchange expertise with Arab judicial institutions.
