Karak, Dec. 17 (Petra) – Director of the Education Directorate for the Karak region, Nidal Fteinat, in coordination with Acting Governor Mohammad Mashhoor Abu Tayeh, decided on Wednesday evening to delay the start of classes in public and private schools under the directorate to 10 a.m. on Thursday. Directorate staff will begin work at 9 a.m. as usual.
Fteinat said the decision was made due to prevailing weather conditions and the likelihood of frost and icy conditions in the early morning hours, stressing the importance of ensuring the safety of students and both administrative and teaching staff.
