Amman, January 15 (Petra) -The suspect, who stabbed and killed an Arab national Tuesday in southern Karak governorate on previous disputes, was arretsed, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced.
The PSD said the victim was rushed to the hospital and soon passed away of his fatal wounds.
In a statement Wednesday, the spokesperson added that the perpetrator fled the crime scene, however security identified his ID, adding that an investigation team was formed from the Criminal Investigation Department and Karak police to hunt down and apprehend the killer.
The official noted the perpetrator was arrested on Wednesday afternoon and the sharp tool used in the crime was seized.
During investigation, the spokesperson said the suspect, who confessed his crime over disputes, involving a case with the victim and others, will be referred to the judiciary.
