Ramtha, Oct. 12 (Petra) – King Abdullah University Hospital (KAUH) on Sunday launched its 2025 seasonal influenza vaccination campaign to protect healthcare workers and patients from flu-related complications, particularly with the onset of winter and the expected rise in seasonal respiratory illnesses.
Hospital Director General Dr. Hassan Al-Balas said the campaign is part of the hospital’s ongoing efforts to promote preventive healthcare and safeguard both patients and staff. He noted that the vaccine is available free of charge to medical and administrative personnel as well as to visitors.
Al-Balas added that the hospital implements this campaign annually in line with the Ministry of Health’s directives to curb the spread of seasonal diseases and maintain a safe and healthy environment across its facilities.
