Amman, December 7 (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday accepted the credentials of a number of new ambassadors to Jordan, according to a royal court statement.
His Majesty accepted the credentials of Ambassadors Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Abdullah Al Farhan Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, Khaled El Abyad of Egypt, and Brigitte Tawk of Lebanon.
The King also accepted the credentials of Ambassadors Louis-Martin Aumais of Canada, Paula Ganly of Australia, James Holtsnider of the United States, Guo Wei of China, and Shahin Shakir Abdullayev of Azerbaijan.
Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi attended the ceremony, which was held at Basman Palace.
