Amman, June 26 (Petra)– His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday departed on a private visit, which will include a working visit to the United States.
His Majesty will participate in the annual economic forum in Sun Valley, Idaho, where he is expected to meet with international political and economic leaders, as well as CEOs and representatives of some of the most prominent companies in the US and the world.
In Sacramento, California, the King is due to meet with representatives of the California Public Employees’ Retirement System agency (CalPERS), which manages the largest pension fund in the US, to discuss opportunities to enhance cooperation with Jordan in the investment sector.
His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members.
