Amman, March 11 (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II and Lebanon President Gen. Joseph Aoun, during a phone call on Wednesday, discussed the recent regional developments.
According to a royal court statement, His Majesty condemned Israel’s attack on Lebanon, affirming Jordan’s solidarity with the Lebanese people and the Kingdom’s readiness to provide them with support that would bolster their efforts to preserve Lebanon’s security and stability.
For his part, the Lebanese president praised Jordan’s support for his country, highlighting the depth of relations between Lebanon and Jordan.
The two leaders emphasised the need to halt the dangerous escalation in the region, respect the sovereignty of states, and utilise dialogue to resolve conflicts.
