King meets with China’s State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) in Beijing

Beijing, Aug. 21 (Petra)– His Majesty King Abdullah II, in Beijing
on Friday, met with officials from China’s State-owned Assets
Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council
(SASAC).

His Majesty was briefed by SASAC Vice Chairman Li Zhen on the
commission’s work managing state-owned enterprises across various
sectors.

The King expressed Jordan’s interest in learning from the Chinese
experience in developing state-owned enterprises, and the mechanisms
used to enhance governance. His Majesty also noted the importance of
effective cooperation and expertise exchange between the two
countries, as well as exploring partnership opportunities in
strategic sectors.

Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Minister of
Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Qudah, Minister of Energy and
Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh, and Jordan’s Ambassador to China
Hussam Husseini attended the meeting.
