Doha, September 15 (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II met on Monday with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the prime minister of Saudi Arabia, on the sidelines of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha.
According to a royal court statement, discussions covered recent regional developments, and the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, as well as the two countries’ resolve to continue efforts to achieve security and stability in the region.
His Majesty and the Saudi crown prince stressed their total rejection of any attack on the sovereignty of any Arab state.
The meeting also covered the dire situation in Gaza, and escalations in the West Bank.
Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh attended the meeting.
