Amman, February 28 (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II and United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during a phone call on Saturday, discussed the current dangerous developments in the region.
According to a royal court statement, the two leaders reiterated their condemnation of the attacks on Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and a number of other Arab countries, which constitute a dangerous escalation and violation of international law.
The call also touched on the need to step up efforts to reach comprehensive calm, and to utilise dialogue and diplomatic solutions to end the escalation.
