Moscow, July 20 (Petra) – Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Sunday that Russia is prepared to act swiftly toward reaching a peace agreement with Ukraine, but stressed that the country’s primary objective remains ensuring national security.
Speaking at a press briefing, Peskov stated, “President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly expressed his desire to shift the Ukrainian settlement process toward a peaceful path as soon as possible. It’s a long and demanding process, and it is likely that this reality is becoming more understood in Washington.”
