Kuwait City, July 17 (QNA) – Kuwaiti firefighters have brought two blazes under control in the country’s south following attacks the authorities attributed to Iran, with no injuries reported, officials said on Friday.
A Kuwait Fire Force spokesperson said the fires erupted at two separate sites that had been targeted in “hostile Iranian attacks”.
He added that the firefighting teams were supported by units from the army and National Guard in containing the blazes.
Kuwaiti authorities said the country had come under Iranian attacks in recent hours, triggering material damage to several facilities. (QNA)
