Kuwait, April 06 (QNA) – Kuwait Bourse closed higher on Monday, with the All Share Index gaining 96.62 points, or 1.14%, to 8,540.71 points.
A total of 285.9 million shares valued at KWD 72 million (roughly $234.9 million) were traded across 17,858 transactions.
The Main Market Index rose 90.20 points to reach 7,828.77 points, up by 1.17 percent, through 149.6 million shares done via 9,431 transactions valued at KWD 23.4 million (roughly $76.3 million).
The Premier Market Index gained 103 points, or 1.14%, to 9,135.40 points, with 136.3 million shares traded via 8,427 transactions valued at KWD 48.6 million (roughly $156.6 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index advanced 186.60 points, or 2.32%, to 8,228.26 points, with a volume of 136.5 million shares traded in 7,771 transactions valued at KWD 20.9 million (roughly $68.21 million). (QNA)
