Kuwait, August 19 (QNA) – Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index gained 47.14 points to reach 8,821.28 points, an increase of 0.54 percent.
As many as 389.4 million shares valued at KWD 103.2 million (roughly USD 334.3 million) were traded via 25,818 transactions.
The Main Market Index went up by 106.48 points to reach 8,968.40 points, up by 1.20 percent, through 235.5 million shares done via 14,116 transactions valued at KWD 49.1 million (roughly USD 159 million).
The Premier Market Index gained 36.94 points to reach 9,247.80 points, up by 0.40 percent, through 153.9 million shares done via 11,702 transactions valued at KWD 54.1 million (roughly USD 175.2 million).
Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index gained 38.69 points to reach 10,599.28 points, up by 0.37 percent, through stock volume of 171.3 million shares done in 10,043 deals at a value of KWD 39.3 million (roughly USD 127.3 million). (QNA)
