Kuwait Condemns Drone Attacks Targeting Al-Abdali Border Crossing

Kuwait, July 23 (QNA) – Kuwait strongly condemned the continued aggression by Iran and its proxies against the country, following a series of hostile drone attacks targeting Al Abdali border crossing on Thursday.

In a statement, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that targeting the border crossing represents a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and poses a direct threat to its security and stability.

It added that the attacks also constitute a serious breach of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817.

The Ministry warned that the continuation of such attacks represents a dangerous escalation, directly threatens regional security and stability, and reflects a systematic hostile approach that cannot be justified or accepted.

It reaffirmed Kuwait’s full and inherent right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter and its commitment to taking all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, territory, resources, security, and stability. (QNA)
