Kuwait City, July 25 (QNA) – The State of Kuwait has decried the extremist settlers’ rampages across several villages in the West Bank.
In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that these actions come as an extension of the Israeli occupation’s violence-based policies against the Palestinian people and flagrantly violate international law and internationally recognized resolutions.
It said these assaults lay bare the Israeli occupation’s approach of condoning these settlers as they continue their abuses and crimes against the Palestinian people.
The statement added that these extremist actions are carried out under the protection of the occupation’s soldiers, confirming that they undermine efforts to achieve peace.
The Ministry called on the international community to act immediately to halt them and hold the perpetrators accountable.
It reiterated the State of Kuwait’s iron-clad position in support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among which is their right to establish an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. (QNA)
