Kuwait, July 23 (QNA) – Kuwait has strongly condemned the Houthi attack on a Saudi vessel in the Red Sea, considering it a flagrant violation of international law and a direct threat to the security and freedom of maritime navigation, the safety of international trade, and energy supplies.
In a statement today, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty and protect its security and interests. The Ministry stressed its rejection of any practices that would destabilize the region’s security and stability.
Kuwait called for an immediate halt to these attacks and adherence to the rules of international law that guarantee freedom of navigation and safe passage in international waterways. (QNA)
