Kuwait, March 22 (QNA) -The Kuwaiti Public Prosecution confirmed Sunday that it has launched investigations into two separate cases related to espionage and acts undermining state security in the wake of an investigation that yielded accurate information about the involvement of a bunch of individuals in communicating and coordinating with terrorist organizations, plotting to compromise the nation’s sovereignty and security.
The investigation team, in collaboration with the relevant authorities, embarked on this probe and issued the necessary legal warrants to bring the suspects and search their compound, where tools and devices in connection with this crime had been seized, the Prosecution added in a statement.
The statement stressed that these acts amount to heinous crimes that compromise state security and are punishable by law, underscoring that the Public Prosecution would move ahead to take all legal procedures against everyone proven to be implicated, ahead of referring the suspects to the judiciary.
