Kuwait, March 24 (QNA) – The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy in Kuwait has revealed that four electric power transmission grids have been returned to operation, based on the highest level of approved safety measures, after the completion of technical assessments.

These four grids were part of the seven lines that had been damaged due to malign Iranian-origin attacks mounted on the State of Kuwait at dawn Tuesday, said spokesperson Eng. Fatima Jawhar Hayat.

She explained that the grids had been fixed with high agility in accordance with enforced contingency plans, adding that on-site surveillance would continue to ensure technical inspections of every nook and cranny of the power grid and enhance its readiness across multiple parts of the nation.

Technical teams are operating 24/7 to finalize repairs on the remaining grids and return them to optimal service as soon as possible, based on safety and quality standards, Hayat continued.

On Monday, the Ministry announced that seven power transmission grids went out of service in several parts of the country after being knocked out by fragments caused by nation’s air interceptors, leading to partial power outages in some areas. (QNA)
