Kuwait, July 21 (QNA) – Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced on Tuesday that several power generation and water distillation plants came under Iranian attacks for the fourth consecutive day.
In its statement, the Ministry said that the attacks caused fires at several facilities, to which emergency teams in coordination with Kuwait Fire Force and security authorities responded immediately and brought the fires under control.
The Ministry added that damage had been assessed and repair plans are underway.
It also noted that several generation units were taken out of service as a precautionary operational measure to protect equipment and maintain the stability of the electricity and water networks. (QNA)
